Meet Violet
Hi! I'm Violet, and I am nine years old. I love animals more than anything in the world! My dad is a marine biologist, and my mom is a zoologist. Their jobs take them around the world to study animals in their natural environments, and they bring me with them! I get to explore wild places and see amazing animals. I document all of my adventures in my journals, and I share them with all of my friends. I hope you like them!

About The Author
Hi, my name is Mark Lewin. I am a retired biologist with too much time on my hands. So, I decided to write a series of children's books about what I like best, animals and traveling. Violet was inspired by my only grandchild, who has the same name. I filled these books with interesting facts about animals and their environments. I hope you will enjoy Violet's adventures as she travels the world with her parents as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
